Marlins Summer Day Camps

Our Summer Day Camps are a fun, active way for swimmers to build confidence, improve their skills, and spend time with friends. This summer, we are offering two full-day camp options so swimmers can join the group that best fits their age, experience, and comfort level in the water.

Registration Information

Registration links will be EMAILED to current Marlins families on May 8th at 12:00 p.m.

Registration links will appear on this page for new families on May 16th at 2:00 p.m.

Registration will take place in two steps:

  1. Fill out a short form with your child’s name, birthday, and your contact information. Families will complete one short form for each week of camp they would like to attend.
  2. Within 48 hours, you will receive an email confirming the camp dates you registered for along with a Camper Information Form. This is where you will enter your child’s information, emergency contacts, payment preferences, medical details, and other important information.
  3. After your Camper Information Form has been completed, you will receive an invoice for your camps through QuickBooks.

In the past, families were required to fill out all Camper Information at the same time they were trying to secure a spot in camp. We found this often led to incomplete or rushed information as families tried to register quickly. This new system makes it faster and easier to secure your camp spot while giving families time to carefully complete all of the important camper information afterward.

Swim Team Skills Camp

Ages: 6–11

Recommended for:

  • Mini Marlins and Mighty swimmers
  • Lifesaving Society Swimmer 2–6
  • Swimmers up to Gold level at the Aquarena

Swimmers are divided by skill level into small groups of approximately 7 swimmers. This full-day camp is for swimmers who have no swim team experience or limited swim team experience.

Swimmers will have two pool sessions each day, where they will learn and improve technique through instruction, creative water games, and fun competitions. Swimmers in this camp will spend most pool sessions in the leisure pool, which is warmer and shallow for the full length of the pool.

Campers will also take part in indoor and outdoor activities, team-building games, and an introduction to dryland plyometrics.

Swimmers must have completed kindergarten this year and be able to get themselves dressed. Camp counsellors will do a walk-through of the change room once all swimmers are dressed to make sure no items are left behind. Swimmers will have a one-hour lunch break to eat their packed lunch each day, along with snack breaks.

Competitive Marlins Camp

Ages: 10–13, with some 9 or 14 year olds depending on skills

Recommended for:

  • 2025–2026 MPM Gold, White, Blue, and Orange A swimmers
  • Competitive swimmers in years 1–4. Swimmers grouped by skill and speed, including those with East Coast standards

This full-day camp is geared toward swimmers who have previously been on a swim team and have strong swimming skills in all four strokes. Swimmers will be divided by skill and speed within the camp so workouts can be matched to their level.

Swimmers will be in the pool 2–3 hours per day, improving technique, building endurance, and developing speed. Pool sessions will include technique work, fun racing, and teamwork activities.

Campers will also participate in indoor and outdoor dryland training and fun activities such as frisbee, soccer, relays, and team games.

Swimmers will have a one-hour lunch break to eat their packed lunch each day, along with snack breaks.

Payment & Refund Policy

Payment can be made by e-transfer or credit card. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments. All camp fees must be paid in full by June 15th.

Your camp fee includes a $50 non-refundable deposit. If you choose to cancel your registration before June 15th, the remaining balance will be refunded as a credit on your account, which can be used toward future Marlins events.

If you cancel after June 15th, you will receive a refund of the remaining balance, minus the $50 non-refundable deposit, only if we are able to fill your spot.

Camp registrations are not transferable to another swimmer. Refunds for cancelled registrations will be issued as credits on your Marlins account and may be used toward any future Marlins event.

Pool closures are outside of our control. If the pool closes, we will do our best to continue running camp as an indoor and/or outdoor camp without swimming. If the facility is closed for multiple days, or if it is unsafe to run alternate activities, and we must cancel camp completely, refunds will be issued using the same payment method originally used.
